Classes

Vinyasa Flow
Our signature yoga class <3. You can expect a vinyasa flow style practice that marries breath & movement and moves fluidly, consciously and dynamically from shape to shape, along with opening pranayama and meditation. We encourage our teachers to share what feels authentic to them based on their own practice and study.
Pilates
Our OG signature pilates class – that has made quite a name for itself – Tayler has been teaching this class to over 100 people in Bristol each week. This contemporary Pilates class is rooted in the fundamental principles, with a focus on breath, full body integration and core control. Curated to a beat, this class builds fluidly from the ground up – beginning with the ‘groundwork’ of mat pilates & into a dynamic, playful standing movement sequence. This approach to pilates looks at movement holistically, centring the intention and the ‘why’. Always sequenced to an epic tempo, this class is low impact, yet high energy.
Rest
This class is a blend of yin yoga, restorative and somatics. All the props, candle lit and set to ambient sounds, Rest is a really slow practice – the perfect warm hug for your nervous system.
Barre
It’s like the stronger sister to pilates?! Barre blends ballet, pilates and isometric movements to create a dynamic full body dynamic workout. The feeling is strong and energised.
Energy in Motion
A monthly Friday night special. A cathartic & somatic workout experience that gets you out of your head and into your body. We use the repetition of pilates, cardio and strength & conditioning movements, with bursts of free movement & dance to move energy up and out the body and notice what comes up.
Parent & Baby Yoga Flow
Our signature vinyasa flow yoga, but bring your baby to yoga – mums, dads carers welcome! For pre-crawlers only.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no pram space in our reception (unless you were happy to leave your pram outside), so you will be to bring your baby in a carrier / sling or car seat.

Community Guidelines
Amazing! Whilst we don’t currently have any specific beginner classes on our weekly timetable, our classes are open level and our teachers teach in a way to meet the needs of the class. There might be some things that feel challenging naturally as its brand new, but you are encouraged to come as you are and take what you need!
Welcome! We are so happy you’re joining us! We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your first session so that you can meet your teacher, be shown around the space, grab a tea and have a little time to settle in, take a breath and relax.
You will need to put your shoes in the shoe boxes outside the front door.
We are Unit 12D Merton Road, Bishopston BS7 8TL – find us here. As you turn onto Merton Rd (off Gloucester Rd), you then turn right again and our unit is tucked away around the corner but you’ll see our A Board & sign.
Parking is very limited on the Merton Rd trading estate – we ask that you do not park in front of the studio (to keep peace with our neighbours!). You can easily take public transport, cycle or walk from most parts of Bristol.
Just your lovely self! And probably a water bottle. We have tea and water in the reception.
Congratulations! Please email Tayler (our studio owner & pre/post natal trained) who can advise you on the most suitable class. Please always let our teachers know when you first meet them if you are pregnant.
Our studio is a completely phone free space during session time. We ask that you turn your phone off/silent (and maybe your Apple watch?!) and put it in your bag in the reception. Let yourself be unplugged. You are welcome to take photos of our space before or after class. Don’t worry, your stuff is safe – the front door is always locked when the session begins.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your session, as arriving late disrupts the entire class. Our teachers will lock the door to the reception when the session starts, so you will not be able to get in and you will loose your credit.
You have 12 hours before the session starts to cancel your class, after this you forfeit your class. For no shows, you will incur an £8 no show fee (we’re really sorry, but we can’t work as a small business if people don’t show and don’t cancel their spot!). Arriving late counts as a no show.
Sense of self is an inclusive community for ALL bodies and identities. Every one of our community members has a right to feel safe, nourished and welcome in our space and we ask that in attending any of our classes you also respect this <3 <3 We ensure that our teachers facilitate their sessions in a way that is inclusive of every body in the session.
